When my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, my family and I cared for him at home for five years. Along the way we shared many poignant moments, creating a therapeutic household and finding countless ways to help my father enjoy life. During that time I learned about all the challenges of family caregiving. I founded Pro-Elder Consulting, LLC in 2006 to help older adults maintain independence and quality of life and to support family caregivers with professional guidance and care.
